Construction has topped out at 450 Eleventh Avenue in NYC’s Hudson Yards, which will be home to a 51-story, 379-room Aloft Hotel served by a Schindler vertical-transportation system, New York YIMBY reported in November. Distinguished by shimmery glass panels that give it an asymmetrical geometry, the structure was designed by DSM Design Group and developed by Marx Development Group. It will also boast a business center, a ballroom, a fourth-floor restaurant and a bar with an outdoor terrace. Directly across from the Jacob K. Javits Center, the US$368-million development is slated for completion in 2023.
