Otis will provide 54 vertical-transportation (VT) units for the Landmark K project in the Seongsu District of Seoul, South Korea, Otis President CEO Judy Marks said in a recent earnings call. The order includes 25 SkyRise® elevators and the Compass® Infinity destination-dispatch system to optimize passenger journeys. The first urban architectural design innovation project by the Seoul Metropolitan Government, the 105-m-tall Landmark K complex will serve as new headquarters for a South Korean IT company and was designed by British architect David Chipperfield. It is scheduled for completion in late 2027. "This project highlights our role in shaping next-generation urban mobility and we're proud to support this innovative development," Marks said.
