Alimak Group Names New EVP of Construction Division

Alimak Group announced it has named Karin Bååthe executive vice president (EVP) of the Construction division, which develops, manufactures, sells, services and provides rentals of a wide range of construction hoists and platforms for temporary use in projects globally, effective April 7. Based in Stockholm, Sweden, Bååthe brings considerable global industrial experience, profit and loss leadership and strong operational knowledge that promises to strengthen the division, Alimak Group CEO Ole Kristian Jødahl said. Bååthe has held leadership roles at McKinsey, SSAB and most recently at Sanvik Mining, where she served as regional CEO, Ground Support, Europe, the Middle East and Africa. After more than five years as EVP of the Construction division, David Batson will assume the role of director, Asia-Pacific, for the division, reporting to Bååthe.
