Alimak Group Names Nylund Chief Communications Officer

Alimak Group, the Stockholm, Sweden-based rack-and-pinion construction hoist specialist, has named Johnny Nylund chief communications officer, effective January 9. Nylund joins Alimak from Sweco, Europe’s leading architecture and engineering company. He previously held similar positions at Business Sweden, AkzoNobel and Swedish Radio. Alimak Group CEO Ole Kristian Jødahl observed Nylund’s experience promises to “help drive excellence in external and internal communications” at the company. Nylund said he “looks forward to being part of the continued growth journey for Alimak Group.”
