AR Emerging Award Winners Named

The firm was named “highly commended” during the AR Emerging awards 2022 in Lisbon, Portugal.

The Architectural Review recently announced Instituto Balear de la Vivienda (IBAVI) of Spain as the winner of the AR Emerging awards 2022, along with Sher Maker of Thailand, which won the Peter Davey Prize, and Sanchez Benton Architects of the U.K., which was named “highly commended.” The winners of the AR Emerging awards were announced during a reception in Lisbon, Portugal. The architects were chosen from a shortlist of 16 practices by a judging panel that includes previous AR Emerging winners Carla Juaçaba and Rahul Mehrotra, as well as Lisbon local Inês Lobo. Entries for the AR Emerging awards 2023 are now open with an entry deadline of July 28, 2023.
