ATIS Welcomes Industry Veterans Robertson and Tragash

(l-r) Robertson and Tragash

St. Louis-headquartered vertical-transportation (VT) consulting firm ATIS has announced the addition of industry veterans Steve Robertson and Eric Tragash. Robertson spent 38 years in all facets of the VT industry, including design, manufacturing, sales, installation, maintenance and modernization. With 10 years of consulting experience, Robertson specializes in working with architects and engineers on new-construction and building renovation projects. He holds a B.S. in mechanical engineering from The Pennsylvania State University and has worked on high-profile projects including One Light Street in Baltimore and Mid-Town Center in Washington, D.C. With more than 30 years’ experience, Tragash has worked in service, modernization and repair for OEMs such as Montgomery/KONE and Payne/TK Elevator, as well as a five-year stint with Motion Control Engineering. He moved from the contractor/supplier side of the business into consulting starting in 2008. Tragash has been involved in projects for major Ivy League universities and large transit systems, “demonstrating a deep understanding of elevator systems, traffic analysis, control logic and elevator and escalator modernization,” ATIS observed.
