Campbell Succeeds Smith and Cuzzi as VDA CEO

vda® Elevator & Escalator Consulting, Inc. (VDA), a leading vertical-transportation consultancy headquartered in East Hanover, New Jersey, recently announced the appointment of Gavin Campbell as CEO. Campbell succeeds previous CEO M. Wade Smith, who retired in 2022 and remains chairman of the board, and interim CEO Rob Cuzzi, who continues to serve as VDA president. “We are thrilled to have Gavin in the CEO role,” Cuzzi said. “He has the knowledge and skillset to expand on the success VDA has built over the past 40 years and will help us reach our next level.” Campbell joins VDA from Intertek Group plc, where he served as president responsible for two global business lines with 140 locations in eight countries. He has extensive experience in the manufacturing, construction and transportation industries.
