CEDES and FIELDBOSS Partner To Deliver IoT Elevator Solution

Swiss Internet of Things (IoT) pioneer and original elevator light curtain manufacturer CEDES and FIELDBOSS, the Microsoft-based field service platform for elevator contractors, on November 11, announced a “transformative” partnership. The alliance connects CEDES Elevate’s IoT-powered insights with FIELDBOSS’s advanced field service tools, offering a complete integrated IoT system aimed at optimizing elevator industry safety, compliance and service efficiency. The first-of-its-kind integration combines real-time data with actionable insights, allowing elevator companies to remain proactive in their maintenance efforts, reduce downtime and improve safety for both the riding public and technicians. Also integrating Microsoft’s Power Automate, Power BI and Copilot, the solution “delivers contractors and their customers unparalleled efficiency, enhanced decision-making and a genuinely innovative service experience — all at a fraction of traditional costs.” CEDES CEO Patrick Bass said combining the FIELDBOSS operating system with CEDES Elevate results in “a complete closed-loop integration of IoT data, service activities and then service outcomes.”
