Chicago Elevator Acquired by Team of Industry Veterans

Chicago Elevator, formerly known as Elevator Industries of Illinois and headquartered on Chicago’s West Grand Avenue, announced its acquisition by industry veterans Mike Askren, Steve Kowalewicz and Ed Reardon. Chicago Elevator has served the Chicagoland area for more than 50 years, growing into a widely respected independently owned and operated company that has come to include City Elevator, Universal Elevator Werks and Standard Elevator, among others. Under the guidance of Askren, Kowalewicz and Reardon, Chicago Elevator says it will continue to prioritize exceptional technical capability, consistent service delivery and a customer-centric approach. “Our goal is to uphold the legacy of Chicago Elevator while infusing it with fresh perspectives and innovative solutions,” Askren said.
