CTBUH Research Seed Funding Proposal Deadline Approaching

The submission deadline for the 2022 Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (CTBUH) International Research Seed Funding initiative is January 15. The initiative is sponsored by AECOM and offers an award of US$15,000. The goal of the seed funding is to assist talented researchers interested in vertical urbanism in developing projects and ideas to a level that would secure additional, more significant, funding — in conjunction with CTBUH. Proposals should relate to the tall building typology/urban habitat but are open to any topic or discipline. The ideal final objective of the potential bigger research project to come out of the 2022 CTBUH Research Seed Funding is to produce an official CTBUH Research Report publication. Acceptance of the award obligates applicants to develop the research in conjunction with CTBUH, including taking the research forward for more significant funding/development after the seed funding period, should that be appropriate based on the initial findings of the research. To express interest in participating prior to the submission deadline, discuss the suitability of a proposal in more detail or ask any questions, please contact email.
