Dual-Tower Project In Istanbul Reaches Completion

Designer and project provider HPP Architects has completed Maslak Square, a two-tower office project in Istanbul, Turkey, the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat reported in January. The project, designed and constructed for the client Kapital Real Estate Development, comprises crystalline towers standing 23 stories (319 ft) and 13 stories (184 ft) in Istanbul’s CBD. The towers include a passageway seen as an ideal route across the premises for visitors, and the ground floor will add value for the area: a market hall with surrounding green spaces will provide an attractive canvas for urban living. The entrances and foyers of the offices will be located on the first-floor level. The buildings’ vertical, contoured façade elements are designed to reduce the impact of direct sunlight and protect against overheating, and they include panels that can be opened, giving users the option of individual ventilation. With vertical-transportation consulting provided by Liftinstituut Solution, the project was completed in 2021
