Dueitt Promoted to EESF Operations and Administrative Director

Dueitt

Laurie Dueitt has been promoted to Elevator Escalator Safety Foundation (EESF) operations and administrative director, following celebrating 25 years as EESF program director in May. A native of Sheboygan, Wisconsin, Dueitt moved to Mobile, Alabama, where EESF is based, many years ago when her father retired from the U.S. Coast Guard. She began her career with EESF as a program assistant in 1998. Over the years, Dueitt has gained a wealth of knowledge about the vertical-transportation (VT) industry and VT safety. Always a familiar face at events, Dueitt says the industry people she has met have become lifelong friends. “Laurie has been a wealth of knowledge both for EESF and the elevator industry at large,” EESF Executive Director Amber Catlin-Kolodziej said. “She continues to produce fresh ideas and, after 25 years of service to EESF, we wanted to show our gratitude by aligning her position with her expertise and experience. I am lucky to work with Laurie, each day.”
