E2 Forum to Focus on Integrating VT, Architecture and More
E2 Forum Frankfurt organizer Messe Frankfurt says the event, scheduled on September 21-22 at Congress Center of Messe Frankfurt (CMF), in Frankfurt, Germany, will offer a wealth of education and networking opportunities for vertical-transportation (VT) industry professionals, architects, engineers and those involved in building planning, construction and operation. A multitude of digital options aimed at enhancing energy efficiency, traffic flow, climate neutrality and cost savings will be discussed during what Messe Frankfurt describes as “two intense days of conference knowledge and personal encounters.” Star architect Nayla Mecattaf, managing director of CroMe Studio Paris and partner with Renzo Piano Building Workshop, is set to deliver the keynote address on September 21. Under the title “Innovation, Digitalization and Sustainability,” approximately 50 experts will participate in lectures, panel discussions and question-and-answer sessions. With a special focus on environmental social governance, or ESG, to run throughout the event, program topics will revolve around “current topics, challenges and solutions for the integration of modern elevators and escalators in new and existing buildings.” Among the nine key topics are “The Elevator in Building Planning,” “Integration of Elevators in Modern Buildings” and “Elevators and Escalators in the Urbanization Process.” Leading VT manufacturers that plan to participate include Cedes, Danfoss, Fermator Global1Partners, Henning, Otis, Schindler Deutchland and Wittur.
