Elevator U, a volunteer organization that supports and encourages the exchange of ideas and information relative to vertical transportation (VT) in academic facilities, has issued a call for papers and released initial details of the 2023 Annual Elevator U Conference on June 26-29 at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Information about registration, exhibitor space, sponsorship opportunities and host hotel Hilton Charlotte University Place are available online. Organizers are finalizing the educational agenda and social activities and will send an email with those details very soon. Elevator U seeks speakers to present on interesting VT-related topics. Non-sales-oriented presentations should contain specific learning outcomes for attendees representing colleges and universities who are responsible for campus VT maintenance or contract administration.
