Fujitec (Hong Kong) Co., Ltd. announced on June 27 it delivered 44 modernized elevators — including 16 that are the fastest available from Fujitec — at Three Garden Road, consisting of two 50- and 40-story office towers built in Hong Kong in 1992. The delivery marks the largest number of units delivered by Fujitec for an office modernization. Now operating under Fujitec’s EZSHUTTLE destination-dispatch system, the elevators were renovated to improve safety and functionality, as they had been in operation for more than 25 years. Designed for large office buildings that are prone to long elevator waits, EZSHUTTLE cuts passenger ride time by up to 50%. The 16 high-speed elevators travel at a speed of 480 m/min.
