Elevadores EV International, S.A. de C.V. (EEVI), a group company of Japan's Fujitec Co., Ltd., delivered seven 150 m/min ZEXIA elevators to LANDMARK Tijuana Torre II, a high-rise, high-end residential building in Tijuana, Mexico. Acquired by Fujitec in 2022, EEVI has been traditionally strong in vertical-transportation products for low- to mid-rise buildings. By employing Fujitec's technological resources, EEVI was able to respond successfully to demand for high-speed elevators. For this project, Fujitec established an optimal supply chain leveraging the strengths of various countries: Technology for the core systems was developed in Japan, product design and manufacturing took place in China and sales and installation occurred in Mexico. As a local elevator brand in Mexico, EEVI boasts the top market share in sales, installation and maintenance in Tijuana. With Fujitec's support, the company aims to expand its share of the high-rise, high-end market.
