AFAG Messen und Ausstellungen GmbH, organizer of the interlift 2023 international vertical-transportation trade fair in Augsburg, Germany, on October 17-20, reports the fair continues to grow, with 40% more exhibitors registered now versus the 2022 fair. AFAG also observed that interest from Mediterranean countries — Italy, Spain and Greece — is strong, with one-fifth more exhibitors from the three countries. Thirty-five component manufacturers from 11 countries say they plan to exhibit in Augsburg for the first time. Extensive joint participation from Indian and Chinese companies is expected to shift the ranking of the top five participating countries, which is currently led by Italy (19%), Spain (8%) and Switzerland and Austria (2% each). VFA-Interlift e.V. is the professional sponsor of the event, which will include the VFA Forum, consisting of approximately 45 presentations on topics ranging from market trends to European and international codes and future technologies. VFA-Interlift’s Selection Committee is currently selecting presentations, and plans to send notifications by mid-June.
