KONE tells ELEVATOR WORLD it provided one MonoSpaceTM 500 DX machine-room-less (MRL) elevator each to two new seven-story residential buildings in Flushing, Queens, and Clinton Hill, Brooklyn. At 138-25 Barclay Avenue in Flushing, the energy-efficient unit serves The Haru Apartments, designed by ND Architecture and developed by Watermark Capital Group. The building includes 48 residences, for which the affordable housing lottery launched in April, according to New York YIMBY. At 1015 Atlantic Avenue in Clinton Hill, the MRL will serve a structure at 1015 Atlantic Avenue designed by Technico Engineering and developed by Solomon Feder. Including 38 residential units and 9,000 ft2 of commercial space, that property completed construction in April, YIMBY reported.
