KONE To Provide VT Solutions To Singapore General Hospital Buildings

KONE Corp. has won an order to supply a suite of People Flow® vertical-transportation (VT) solutions for Singapore General Hospital’s (SGH) Elective Care Centre (ECC) and National Dental Centre Singapore (NDCS) buildings located at the SGH Campus. The sustainably designed centers will house operating rooms, specialist outpatient clinics and inpatient wards, as well as digital dentistry capabilities, research and education facilities. KONE will deliver 49 elevators and 11 escalators from the DX product range, which offers high energy efficiency performance and built-in connectivity. The solutions supplied to ECC and NDCS include Autonomous Mobile Robot Interface, Blue Code Activation Interface, KONE-Link and KONE Health & Well-Being Solution. KONE booked the order in the fourth quarter of 2022.
