Korea Elevator University MoU To Support Disabled Community
Through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with South Korea’s Center for Comprehensive Support for Enterprises for Persons with Disabilities (CCSED) signed on September 19, The Korea Elevator University vows to support people with disabilities by helping build a supportive ecosystem, Venture Square reports. The Korea Elevator University, an educational institution dedicated to the elevator industry, operates an educational program for people with disabilities by working with industries in South Korea’s Gyeongnam region and the Regional Innovation System and Education project, a national initiative. Signed by CCSED Chairman Park Maru and Korea Elevator University President Lee Hyeon-seok, the MoU aims to “strengthen support for entrepreneurship for people with disabilities to settle into their communities and achieve economic independence, and to support sustainable lives for people with disabilities through customized job and entrepreneurship training linked to local industries.”
