As a result of consistent and increasing manufacturing demands for lift and escalator controllers, Lester Controls announced in January that it has recently acquired a 15,092 ft2 commercial building to accommodate its head office and principal manufacturing center located in Croydon, Surrey, U.K. Lester Controls moved to the new location in December 2021, allowing the company to be fully operational in its new premises on January 4, 2022. The new facilities will allow Lester Controls to streamline its production lines to ease workflow. Additionally, the company is increasing the size of its in-house customer training area, which will benefit from an adjacent three-stop lift, managed by a Lester Controls’ ALMEGA II controller. Lester Controls’ administration, sales and technical support management offices will be found on the second floor, along with client and internal meeting rooms. A ground-floor showroom is also scheduled to open this year.
