Members of the vertical-transportation industry gathered at the prestigious Fairmont The Palm hotel in Dubai on January 22-24 for the first LIFT MEET UP, a strategic networking event for key lift industry players from North Africa and the Middle east sponsored by seven leading elevator components manufacturers: Fermator Group, Hydronic Lift, Monteferro, Montanari, MP Wire Ropes, Schaefer and WEG Automation Europe. Among the invited participants were executives, top managers and decision makers. Guests had the opportunity to attend Conference Day with more than 100 professionals and participate in a gala dinner overlooking the sea. During the Conference Day, one-on-one business meetings were held concurrently with presentations and panel discussions led by sponsors’ technical experts to provide insight on the latest industry developments, technological advances and new requirements for installation and modernization projects. The first edition of LIFT MEET UP “promises to be a catalyst for future partnerships and innovations within the industry,” organizers observed.
