Amsterdam, Netherlands-headquartered Liftinstituut has added five experts to its certification team, the product certification organization recently announced. They are: Wouter Bijlsma, Tolga Göktaş, Mohamed Issa, Elena Mauro and Tejaswini Gangegowda Rathna. Liftinstituut International Business Manager Albert-Jan van Ommen said the new team members position the organization to achieve further growth and meet growing demand. Mauro and Rathna specialize in functional safety, which van Ommen observed is a hot topic. Both worked in the process industry, he said, “where functional safety is at an unprecedented level.” Mauro brings additional expertise in cybersecurity. Bijlsma, Göktaş and Issa all bring knowledge in the mechanical, mechatronic and electronics fields.
