Lorino Becomes New CEO of KONE Ibérica & Italia

Lorino

KONE Corp. appointed Giovanni Lorino CEO of KONE Ibérica & Italia effective July 1. Lorino has more than 25 years’ experience in the vertical-transportation industry, including serving as CEO of KONE Iberia from 2015-2019, when he went on to lead the KONE Italy team until his most recent appointment. Former Managing Director of KONE Iberia Filipe Nóbrega is now the general directorate for eastern Europe and the Mediterranean. KONE observed the “birth of the Ibérica & Italia group responds to the new operating model that KONE has implemented worldwide.” The company said it continues to emphasize sustainability, streamlined processes and customer service as it promotes competitiveness. “Thanks to this new structure, we have the possibility to be even more efficient and continue offering the best possible service to our customers,” Lorino said.
