A 25-year-old man was killed after getting trapped between a lift and the walls of a foot overbridge (FOB) in Delhi’s Malviya Nagar in India, NDTV is among outlets to report. Three students, who were stuck in the lift, made an SOS call to the police. A fire engine, police and officials from the Public Works Department arrived. Video shows a gap between the lift’s gate and the wall. Police believe the victim, who was stuck in the gap (which caused the lift to malfunction) broke into the lift to steal batteries, according to the Hindustan Times.
