Maryland’s Action Elevator Strengthens Its Mid-Atlantic Team

Action Elevator Co., a full-service elevator company headquartered in Millersville, Maryland, has strengthened its Mid-Atlantic team with the addition of Leslie Durakis as director of sales and marketing. With 10 years’ industry experience, Durakis is based at Action’s Washington, D.C., office, which came about through Action’s acquisition of Avery Elevator in December 2020. Durakis began her industry career as a sales intern at Schindler in 2011, quickly advancing to service account manager. She holds a master’s degree in marketing management from University of Maryland University College. Action states that “the addition of Durakis is an important element” to its continued expansion in the Northern Virginia and Washington, D.C. markets.
