MESA Searching for Scholarship Recipients

Massachusetts Elevator Safety Association (MESA) has begun the search for recipients of the 2023 G. Gahr Finney Memorial Scholarship for high school seniors, and will take applications through May 1. MESA hopes to award two US$2,000 scholarships to a daughter, son, stepchild or grandchild of a MESA member in good standing. The scholarship was named in honor of the late Gerald Gahr Finney, who had many years in the elevator industry with both Otis and the Syska Hennessey Group and was an active member of MESA. “As time passes, some members have never met Gahr,” MESA stated. “His devotion of substantial time and effort to our industry is recognized, appreciated and remembered through this scholarship.”
