Minnesota 7th District Congresswoman Michelle Fischbach, along with State Senator Paul Utke and State Representative Krista Knudsen, visited Marine Innovations, Inc., in Frazee, Minnesota on January 4. Fischbach met with company owners Mike, Lori and Nick Botzet to discuss Marine Innovations’ successes and challenges, as well as those of other small, family-owned businesses in Minnesota. Among topics discussed were fair taxes for small- to medium-sized businesses, regulations and how supply chain issues are still affecting small, rural businesses. Marine Innovations, a leading manufacturer of trams and inclined elevators for North America, Central America and the Caribbean, appreciates the U.S. representative and fellow lawmakers taking time out of their schedules to tour the manufacturing facility and discuss business.
