Mitsubishi Contributes to Happiness Project Donation in Thailand
Shoichi Ogiwara, president of Thai-MC Co., Ltd., and Suntipong Buranakittayakorn, general manager, representative of Mitsubishi Elevator (Thailand) Co., Ltd., recently presented THB1.5 million (US$41,528) to the Dr. Thiam Chokwatana Foundation for the “Punsuk Im Jai” (Sharing Happiness) project to help alleviate the suffering of people affected by COVID-19, the Bangkok Post reports. Dr. Sirina Pavarolavidya, president of the Dr. Thiam Chokwatana Foundation, received the donation and said, “The Foundation has continually carried out activities to help society, whether in the field of education, public charity, religion, art and culture, including activities that benefit society and alleviate suffering from the COVID-19 pandemic.” The foundation has distributed more than 3 million packets of Honest Noodles that don’t contain MSG (Monosodium Glutamate) to those who live higher impacted areas in Bangkok and vicinities, including Nonthaburi, Pathum Thani, Nakhon Pathom, Samut Sakhon, and Samut Prakan. The donation will help the foundation provide consumer products, alcohol gel and more to those in need.
