NAEC, CECA and NEII To Host Townhall on ASME, ISO Standard Adoption

The National Association of Elevator Contractors (NAEC), the Canadian Elevator Contractors Association (CECA) and National Elevator Industry, Inc. (NEII) ask interested elevator industry professionals to mark their calendars and register for the ASME & ISO Townhall Meeting planned on June 9 from 2-3 p.m. EST. The virtual meeting will focus on the adoption of ASME and ISO standards and what that means for the future of the vertical-transportation (VT) industry. “This important discussion will explore alignment efforts, safety philosophies, regulatory impacts and potential discussion items for manufacturers, inspectors and AHJs,” NAEC stated. Attendees will hear from industry experts, have an opportunity to ask questions during a Q&A session and stay ahead of the changes shaping the VT industry.
