NEEA Welcomes Additions to Its Leadership Team

The National Elevator and Escalator Association (NEEA), a voice for Canada’s vertical-transportation industry, has named two new members to the leadership team as part of an expansion and modernization aimed at meeting growing demands, the association announced on September 7. Christian von Donat has been appointed executive director, operations, and Mark Chiarelli is the new director of labor relations. NEEA represents the interests of the four major global OEMs — KONE, Otis, Schindler and TK Elevator — and is responsible for negotiating collective labor agreements in all provinces. It also works with regulators and public policy stakeholders to advance issues of relevance to the industry. In addition to its expanded leadership, NEEA recently launched a new website and moved into new, larger headquarters in Toronto.
