The latest round of renovations to the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana, includes new atriums and escalators, Nola.com reports. The project, currently in its fourth phase, will extend the lifespan of the Caesars Superdome — home to the NFL’s New Orleans Saints — by decades. KONE is the vertical-transportation subcontractor under general contractor Broadmoor LLC. Patrons will be able to use the new escalators beginning this fall, and the entire project will be completed prior to the start of the 2024 football season — in time to host Super Bowl 2025, which also coincides with the building’s 50th anniversary.
