Orbitz Elevators PNG Donates US$5,100 to RSPCA

Orbitz Elevators Papua New Guinea (PNG) donated PGK20,000 (US$5,100) to the Royal Society of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RSPCA), which will go toward educating children in PNG about responsible and compassionate behavior toward animals, the Post-Courier reports. A check was presented by Orbitz Elevator PNG Business Development Manager Lawrence Lahari and Technical Projects Manager Conrad Mehl to RSPCA PNG General Manager David Thompson on July 25. Thompson said the funds will support RSPCA’s Wantok Program, in which approximately 22,000 schoolchildren were engaged in 2023, learning about “animal welfare and the basic needs of animals.” During the check presentation, Lahari said, “Orbitz Elevators PNG recognizes the invaluable contributions RSPCA PNG has made to communities.”
