Otis Appoints Maheshwari EVP and CFO

Otis has appointed Anurag Maheshwari executive vice president (EVP) and chief financial officer (CFO), the company announced on June 27. Reporting directly to Otis Chair, CEO and President Judy Marks, Maheshwari will assume the role — most recently filled by Rahul Ghai — on August 12. Most recently, Maheshwari was vice president, finance, IT and chief transformation officer for Otis’ Asia-Pacific region. Before joining Otis, he served as VP, investor relations, at L3 Harris, leading the company’s interaction with the investment community and driving strategic investment planning and capital deployment. With a BA in economics from KC College in Mumbai, Maheshwari studied at the Asian Institute of Management in metro Manila, Philippines. He began his career as a consultant and progressed through strategy, P&L (profit & loss), private equity and finance roles of increasing responsibility at United Technologies Corp., Affinity Equity Partners and Harris Corp. Ghai, who has accepted a position outside the company, will work closely with Maheshwari through mid-August on the transition.
