Otis CFO Role To Transition From Maheshwari to Méndez

Méndez

Otis Worldwide Corp. announced on July 19 that the executive vice president and chief financial officer (CFO) role will transition from Anurag Maheshwari — who is pursuing a role outside of Otis — to Christina Méndez, effective August 23. Méndez will report directly to Otis Chair, CEO and President Judy Marks, who observed that Méndez has deep financial management expertise leading transformation within and outside Otis. “She understands our long-term strategy and service-driven business model and how to drive growth and shareholder value,” Marks said. Méndez successfully led Otis finance teams through change and positive results in Otis’ diverse Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region, accounting for more than half of Otis’ global service portfolio. She comes to her new position from serving as senior vice president, finance, EMEA and Transformation, with a strong focus on financial planning and analysis and mergers and acquisitions. Before joining Otis in 2022, Méndez served as a senior finance executive in the telecommunications industry for more than 15 years.
