Otis Worldwide Corp. announced on August 20 it has been recognized as a leader in creating and promoting an inclusive work culture in the U.S. by Seramount — a professional services and research firm — for the second consecutive year. For the past six years, the Seramount Inclusion Index has assessed and ranked companies for their inclusion efforts using an extensive application process. Inclusion efforts are measured in three key areas: best practices in the recruitment, retention and advancement of people from underrepresented groups; inclusive company culture; and demographic diversity. Otis advanced this year to become a “Leading Inclusion Index Company” — a recognition for companies scoring 70% or higher on the index.
