Otis Shares Latest VT Solutions at CTBUH Conference

Leaders from Otis Worldwide Corp. shared the latest on connected vertical-transportation (VT) solutions, including how elevators interact with service robots and a preview of what’s next for AI-powered destination dispatching, at the international conference of the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (CTBUH) on October 16-18 in Singapore. The theme of this year’s conference was “Humanizing High Density” with a focus on the need to make cities human-centric centers that allow populations to thrive. In line with the theme, Otis presented solutions that benefit building owners, facility managers and passengers alike, including the Otis Compass® Infinity destination dispatch system, smart screens inside Otis elevator cabs providing video calls to OTISLINE and how hospitals, hotels, commercial businesses and others can use service robots with Otis Integrated Dispatch™. Otis Senior Director of High Rise Sales Lucien Wedzikowski spoke about the evolution of commercial buildings due to a rise in remote and hybrid work that resulted in major population shifts in many regions across the globe, and Nippon Otis President Thibault Lefebure discussed the benefits of Otis Integrated Dispatch™.
