Otis Unveils Urban Renewal and Accessibility Products at CIIE

Otis unveiled a suite of new products to support urban renewal and accessibility at the eighth China International Import Expo (CIIE) in Shanghai on November 5-10. The solutions, Otis states, underscore the company's commitment to addressing global trends including urbanization, an aging population and sustainable development through cutting-edge technology. "China remains one of our most dynamic and promising markets, with expanding opportunities in service and refurbishment," Otis President and CEO Judy Marks said. The new products and services debuted at CIIE include an upgrade to the award-winning Otis Smart Cab, which originally debuted at CIIE 2023; Gen3^TM Comfort, a sustainable, smart and safe elevator designed to support China's quality-housing initiative; the SkyRise^TM MOD high-rise elevator and Link^TM MOD escalator — scalable modernization packages to support China's urban renewal and sustainability initiatives; the novel Otis AI Inspection Robot for elevator maintenance; and Otis AI Agent, a comprehensive digital elevator manager that interacts with building managers and maintenance personnel in real-time.
