Otis is providing the vertical-transportation (VT) package for City Centre 4 (CC4), a 23-story mixed-use tower with six levels of underground parking being developed by The Lark Group and ITC Group in Surrey, Canada. The package includes six SkyRise® and two Gen3TM elevators, as well as Otis’ Compass® 360 destination-dispatch system. The structure was designed by WA Architects and is being built to LEED Gold certification standards. Canada ConstructConnect reported in December it will be part of eight developments that, when completed, will “make up the largest health and technology hub of its kind in Canada.” Joining City Centre 1, 2 and 3, CC4 will boast 360,000-ft2 of office space with more than 60,000 ft2 over five floors devoted to “wet lab” space. Completion is anticipated in late 2025.
