Pickerings Lifts Opens 15th Regional Office

Stockton-on-Tees, U.K.-based Pickerings Lifts recently celebrated the opening of its 15th regional office in St. Ives, Cambridgeshire. This office will be headed up by previous North London Regional Manager Julie Greyling. Pickerings Managing Director Paul Brooks said, “Julie has done a phenomenal job with the North London office, and she is now looking forward to running the new office. I am sure it will go from strength to strength under her capable management.”  Celebrating its 170th year, Pickerings is the largest independent lift service company in the U.K. Established in 1854, Pickerings is still owned by the original family, with 15 regional offices and 400-plus employees. The company offers engineering expertise to the retail, hospitality, industrial, transportation, healthcare and government sectors. With organic growth in recent years, the company saw a turnover of £50m (US$63.60 million) for 2023.
