Record Attendance for Northampton Technology Conference

On June 14, Merged Futures 6 attracted a record 350 attendees who heard 18 presentations across five rooms and browsed 20 exhibitions. The sixth annual conference showcasing innovation within local businesses, West Northamptonshire Council (WNC) and held at the University of Northampton (UON) last week, was the biggest yet. The theme for Merged Futures 6 was “technology for good,” and exhibits included virtual reality for well-being, AI in service delivery, gamification of learning, smart glasses for the partially sighted and robo pets for the elderly. Merged Futures is organized by Digital Northants, a partnership between UON and WNC.
