Schindler, Adams at Johnson Controls E&E Safety Week at LAX

Schindler and Adams Elevator teams participated in Johnson Controls' National Elevator & Escalator (E&E) Safety Awareness Week event on November 10-13 at the Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) Consolidated Rent-a-Car facility. At the event, Adams National Sales and Process Manager Molly Cruz shared information about and described the role the Elevator Escalator Safety Foundation plays in passenger safety through its Safe-T-Riders, Safe Rider and Rise UP Safe Rider programs. Activities included Cruz delivering a presentation on best safety practices, a tabletop exercise on emergency preparedness and response and interactive discussions with the public emphasizing that safety is a shared responsibility. The key message was, "Together we can elevate awareness and make every ride a safe one," Cruz said. "Safety is at the heart of everything we do — whether it's ensuring the reliability of our equipment, protecting our mechanics or safeguarding passengers."
