Schindler Returns to CIIE as It Marks 45 Years in China

Swiss elevator manufacturer Schindler is looking forward to the 8^th edition of the China International Import Expo (CIIE) as the OEM marks 45 years in China, Xinua reports. This year’s CIIE, which bills itself as the “world’s first import-themed expo,” is planned on November 5-10 at the National Exhibition and Convention Centre in Shanghai with the aim of serving as a platform for foreign companies to showcase their products and innovations to the Chinese market. The expo includes showcases for various industries, including automotive, consumer goods and technology. In the elevator industry, exhibitors include Hitachi, Mitsubishi Electric and Otis, which launched its new, connected Otis Electric 7000 elevator at last year’s CIIE.
