Schmersal Named Among “Best Managed Companies”

Wupperal, Germany-headquartered producer of safety switching devices and systems for personal and machine production The Schmersal Group was named among winners of the 2023 “Best Managed Companies” awards program by the consulting and auditing company Deloitte Private, the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung and the Federation of German Industries. According to a press release from Schmersal, the award is given to excellently managed medium-sized companies that shine in four management areas: strategy; productivity and innovation; culture and commitment; and governance and finance. Schmersal sees the award, which was presented on May 25 in Düsseldorf, as a confirmation of the “continuous further development” of the company’s internal processes. Managing Director Philip Schmersal commented that the award increases visibility of the Schmersal brand and “enhances our reputation in the competition for good employees.”
