Traction machine solutions provider Sharp Engineers North America, headquartered in Mundelein, Illinois, recently achieved CSA certification in compliance with CSA B44.1/ASME A17.5 standards. “This achievement reinforces our dedication to meeting industry standards and supporting our customers with certified and dependable products,” the company stated. Sharp Engineers offers a variety of geared and gearless machines; components including speed governors, and guide shoes and car/counter frames. The company has founded in India in 1994 and established its North America operations in 2025.
