Shorts Announces New Business Development Manager

Shorts, which provides products and services across all aspects of lift installation, modernization and maintenance in the U.K., recently announced that Andy Emsley has joined its team as Business Development manager. Emsley has more than 35 years of lift industry experience, having been a director and shareholder of both Independent Lifts Ltd. and Classic Lifts Ltd. In his new role, Emsley will work closely with Sales Manager Julie Black to develop relationships with lift installation, modernization and maintenance companies in the North of England and Scotland regions. Emsley has returned to the lift industry after spending some time away and achieving his UEFA (which is the governing body for football in Europe) A License with Sheffield United Football Club, where he coached the foundation and youth teams during their Championship and Premier League years.
