State of Illinois Approved Colley Elevator CE Course

Bensenville, Illinois-headquartered Colley Elevator Co. announced approval of its Elevator 101 course for continuing-education (CE) credit by the State of Illinois for property managers working toward their Community Association Manager (CAM) license on April 24. Approved as an elective for 1 CEU, the course aims to provide community association and property managers with a better understanding of their elevator equipment. Given as a lunch-and-learn workshop, the course elaborates on code mandates such as the approaching A17.1 2022 update, equipment obsolescence, preventive maintenance and capital planning for modernization, Colley Managing Partner Craig Zomchek said. The CAM license is regulated by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation, Division of Real Estate, which serves as the state’s head regulatory agency that ensures professional licenses meet the legislative and regulatory requirements enacted to protect Illinois consumers.
