Three Indian Bus Stations Facing Elevator Issues

Elevator service at the Rayapur Hubali-Dharwad BRTS (HD BRTS) bus station between Hubballi and Dharward in India has been stopped, The Times of India reports. There are six foot overbridges (FOB) constructed at Rayapur, SDM Medical College, Navanagar, Unkal Lake, Unkal Cross and Hosur. Ramps are constructed at almost all of the FOBs. Elevator service at Navanagar, Unkal Lake and Unkal Cross has also been discontinued. Officials say there are 15 elevators installed at various BRTS bus stations, but these three have stopped working due to technical issues. According to officials, a tender and funds have been provided for maintenance.
