TKE Holds Elevator and Escalator Rescue Training Sessions for Madrid Firefighters

TK Elevator (TKE) recently held several firefighter training sessions at its internal training department SEED Campus in Madrid, Spain. TKE Technical Trainer Antonio Barrajon led 120 of Madrid’s firefighters through rescue scenarios involving an elevator or escalator. Participants were educated on the theory of safety elements and regulations and given the opportunity to practice safe evacuation procedures in a real elevator shaft. TKE said the training offering exemplifies how the company lives its core value of safety by “activity engaging with the wider community.”
