TKE On Annual List Of World’s Most Innovative Companies

TK Elevator (TKE) has been named to Fast Company’s annual list of the World’s Most Innovative Companies 2022, the OEM announced on March 8. TKE was ranked No. 7 out of 10 companies on the Urban Development sector list, with Top Company editors observing the OEM has “continued to advance touchless elevator technology,” introducing the Agile app that allows building occupants to operate elevators via smartphones and wearable devices, thereby reducing traffic congestion and avoiding interaction with surfaces. TKE pointed to its other innovations and accomplishments, including opening its new North American headquarters, including the tallest test tower in North America, at the Battery Atlanta; pioneering and expanding the industry’s first cloud-based digital platform, MAX; offering TWIN, an elevator system featuring two cabins operating independently in one shaft; and developing the ropeless and sideways-moving MULTI elevator system.
